Hi Geoff, thought you might be interested to know and see that I fitted my latch on Saturday, launched and retrieved yesterday for the first time and it worked perfectly.Instructions were perfect and you see that I used the extension.

Only had to drill one new extra hole at the front of the winch arm. I even got the “finger” spacing perfect. Our boat a 6.2m Haines Signature 600BR on a Mackay Trailer. Wife very happy that she didn’t have to get her feet wet!!! Cheers

Geoff, Bought one of your boat latches after dislocating my shoulder on a slippery ramp.

No longer get wet and it launches and retrieves my Haines Hunter 565R effortlessly every time with great envy and interest at the ramps I use.

Hi Geoff, Following installation, I have trialled the boat latch system on my Quintrex 4.5 runabout and it is fantastic to use and is virtually foolproof providing you take the time to line the boat up centrally to the trailer when retrieving the boat onto the trailer.

I am 70 and this system saves me a lot of drama and effort when launching and retrieving on my own. Previously when retrieving I had to drive the boat up to the roller, leave the engine in forward to hold the boat against the roller, climb out over the prow of the boat and hook up the winch and safety chain, climb back into the boat to place it in neutral and switch off the engine, then climb back out of the boat into the water to drive from the ramp.

It is a fantastic, well thought out and engineered design and with the roller extension fitted, as required for this boat, it works perfectly every time and is worth every $ of the outlay. Kind regards.

Hi, Just to let you know, bought a boatlatch from yourself at the Brisbane boat show about 6-7 yrs ago. It’s still in perfect condition, and still works a treat after many launch/ retrievals.

We just came back from Easter boat trip this weekend with the kids, and I had the boat (6mtr Haines) on the trailer and out of the water quicker than the tinnie and JetSki people either side.

And all without help from the kids/wife. It’s amazing, (and much safer) to be able to do it without help of others.

I’ve never contacted a manufacturer to say thanks for a great product, but I think praise is warranted in this case.

Hi Geoff, I spoke to you a couple of weeks ago about your product and managed to pick one up from Smiths Marine in Collingwood.

I found fitting it to my Dunbier trailer a breeze and it works as described! I wouldn’t be without one!
